The leitmotiv of the stories told in the film is the problem of communication between contemporary art and common people. The encounter of traditionalist cultures (such as those from the Alps) with contemporary art and architecture can be really dramatic and often hides interesting stories. What do artists and architects think when they have to prepare a work for a mountain landscape, characterized by breathtaking environment? Why do municipalities and communities call them? Do mountains look for an international style? We will look for the answers in some special locations, such as the Parco d’Arte of Egidio Marzona in Verzegnis or among those 100 statues built in Austria by British artist Anthony Gormley. Silences are more important of words, since every silence is a moment to think.
