In 1975, TV Koper-Capodistria, in collaboration with minority organizations from Italy and Yugoslavia, decided to establish the Alpe Adria Agency (Agencija Alpe Adria), with the aim of providing television news to minorities in both languages, Italian and Slovene. The Treaty of Osimo, with the definitive division of Zone A and Zone B, had left the populations of both states dissatisfied, as they claimed their ethnic belonging and, above all, the ownership of real estate they had been forced to abandon after the Second World War.
