Border Studio is an independent film studio, located in Friuli Venezia Giulia. It was awarded in a start-ups to social innovation. It was born in 2014 as the natural combination of the professional abilities of the three founding members. Giordano Bianchi, author, director and DOP, gathered a decennial experience in the audio-visual and documentary sector, always accompanied by his colleague Martina Marafatto, author, director and editor. Paola Sponda, with a long experience in the private cultural sector as administrator and producer, joined them on a second instance. Border Studio produces and co-produces mainly documentary films supported by national and European funds. It has participated in productions purchased by international broadcasters. They also cooperates with film festivals, international cultural events, training agencies and schools.
