The film tells the story of the diffusion of Italian music in Yugoslavia and the influence it had on the music and culture of that country. A decade after the end of the Second World War, Italy represented for young Yugoslavs a point of reference for capturing the echoes of the rock’n’roll revolution that was taking place in the United States, but mediated by typically Mediterranean melodies and stripped by the subversive elements it had in the Anglo-Saxon world.
