After thirty years from his dead, which was premature not just for his age but also for the emptiness left in every football fan, the documentary aims to go back on the trails of the inimitable coach from Trieste. A “travel through memory” that covers every step of his career between the different cities in which he has been protagonist: from his Trieste, that he loved with an unrequited love, despite a legendary second position behind the great Turin, to Padua, where he included permanently his “bulls” crew up to the vertex of international football; from the Milan of the great world triumphs to the more suffered experiences on the Turin and Florence teams. A journey where from time to time a hint of emotion steal the scene from the happiness of the bottom, reminding lots of amusing and curious episodes, studded by that kind of scathing jokes that the Paròn always dispensed in large quantities, inside and outside the locker room. With his Trieste slang, not very suitable for minors at that time. The testimonies of several known characters are reported in order to recall the figure of Rocco – from Rivera and other champions, to his football “sons” Bearzot, Trappattoni and Cesare Maldini, until less famous people. What stand out above all, are the Paròn great human qualities, incomparable in creating the team spirit, with his overflowing and histrionic personality, and his exclusive skill to dose strictness and complicity.
