Goran has settled in Trieste since 1991. For several years he shuttled between Slovenia, its land of origin, and Trieste, where his wife Francesca was born. Before the fall of the Berlin Wall, Goran had set up a thriving business with his brother road service between Slovenia and Italy.
Having tow trucks and machine shops here and across the border, could offer a complete service. Francesca lives in Trieste, while Goran, for his activities, he continued to live on either side of the border. In fact, unbeknownst to his wife and children, Goran ran with his brother trafficking of stolen cars. Italian cars were camouflaged with Slovenian registration plates and documents and carrying beyond the border under the guise of a fault.
In Slovenia, thanks to a series of conspiracies, were registered from scratch and then resold on the market of the Balkans. With the proceeds of unlawful activities and Goran’s brother, had opened a nightclub in Port Rose, but whose family members were unaware of the existence, and a bar run by Francesca in Trieste. With the war in the Balkans the Goran activity was resized but had since found other routes to Germany.
