This documentary is about an artist, Toni Zuccheri. Born in 1936 from an aristocratic family, he lives his childhood among animals, knowing the greatest names of Italian art and culture. Zuccheri becomes one of the most important exponents of the art of Murano glass, and through his bestiary made of glass and other materials he recreates his lost youth. Experimentation is his obsession and shapes are his shelter. Every moony animal is a continue exploration, a perpetual hunt, because that sculpture is an obsessive thought for months, sometimes for years. None of his pieces of art are modelled without a gesture filled with troubled and elaborate research. Thanks to the memories of critics, friends, poets, relatives and collaborators, this documentary becomes a choral portrait of the man, his art, his experience and his inner world. This poetic character emerges from the oblivion, he might seem decadent and bizarre at the same time, full of charm and mystery, of which his works are the natural extension. Toni Zuccheri also represents a fresco of an ancient aristocracy, with its shadows and lights.
