In a land of frontier filled by intense silences and by a sunken vitality, runs the Tagliamento river – the “King of the alpine rivers” by stories sometimes simple, sometimes complicated. Backbone of a region which has always been a crossroad and junction in the history of Europe, the River is the protagonist of a story which looks into nature’s force and its possibilities of resistance, and also onto the everyday life of men and women and their stubbornness, because “water is provided with memory”.
