However much you may want to escape responsibility, there always comes a time when you cannot hide. Lorenzo Stucky, who as a boy had to sacrifice his talent for idleness due to the untimely death of his father, knows this well. He would always have preferred to stay on the sidelines but was never able to do so. And now, almost without having wanted to, he has been promoted to inspector of the police headquarters in Treviso, a small and elegant northern city full of grace but also of mystery. Starting with the case of an untraceable serial harasser of shop assistants in the centre, Stucky will have to face and solve several murder cases. Along the way he will find self-confidence, love for a colleague and in the last episode, after many years, even the culprit of his father’s murder.
