The documentary describes the ancient civilisation of the Castellieri, a mysterious people that took their name from the massive embankments they built to dominate the North East of Italy almost 4000 years ago. By following the investigations of the narrator Loris Vescovo, the archaeologists’work and the historical re-enactments, the viewers will find out the culture, the habits and the history of this ancient civilisation. The presenter Loris Vescovo interacts with the camera, describing with passion the ancient civilizations of the “Earthen People” and always trying to convey his desire to know and tell. The documentary narrates this ancient civilization starting from the places where these misterious
people were living and where there are still the remains of earthworks that they built to take possession of their territory.
The documentary shows the archaeological excavations and the interaction beetween the presenter and the archaeologists, giving the viewers the perception that history is still present in these places.
